Torna Fort | तोरणा किल्ला
Torna Fort, also known as Prachandagarh or The Eagle’s Nest, is a popular hill fort located at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level in the Sahyadri mountain range. It is considered to be the highest hill fort in Pune district. Torna was the first fort conquered by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 1646 which led to the establishment of the Maratha Empire.
